Food Shortage

Today I learned that most of the food I eat daily comes from other countries! I was very surprise when I heard that. That's why when I went to the store last week to buy some bananas they were so expensive, i was really hungry so I still bought them. But now instead of going to the super market I am going to go to my local community garden which will sell me does bananas for a way cheaper price. The closes local garden i found online is the Echo Park Community Garden which is very good from what I hear from people. If prices keep going up I think that community gardens is where ill be shopping from now on.

Gas Outages

With all of the airlines canceling their flights these days, i believe that the gas outages will just be getting worst. More people will be traveling by car because of the cancellation of flights and that will just make everything worst. I wouldn't like giving up goods and services, but if i really had to, i would rather carpool than walk because I am just lazy. And yes I am worried about losing necessities such as water, because they say that we are running low on that and i know that we need water to survive and i know I am not the only one that worries about that. That is why me and my family are saving money and spending it only on the things we need because everything is just to expensive!

Supply and Demand

Supply and demand is when some needs a certain product for an amount of money. And Demand is when a companies or store produces a=the product for a certain amount of money. One thing that i also found interesting about the oil quiz we took was that i don't know anything about oil! I was surprised about how little i know about it, and i would really like to learn more because its something that is important to us and i would like to do something to help the cause.

News Of Oil

Today I watched the news about petroleum outage and I learned that driving a car is not the best thing to do at this time! What is worrying me is that now a days to have gas you would have to be rich, and imagine how its going to be in the near future! Right now gas prices are at a high rate of $4 a gallon and they predict that it is going to raise even higher with in some time. I am not made of money so if gas prices keep increasing, I might have just have to sell my car and buy a bike! This will save me a fortune and I will also get a workout at the same time.

Life Withouth CD's

Today I went for a walk and i decided to buy a new CD, but when i arrived, the store was not in business anymore because they did not have anymore Cd's anymore! They explained to me that due to the shortage of oil they stops making Cd's. How will i ever burn music and movies now?
